Dance with Scottish Spirit
The Kathleen Carlsen Dancers Society (KCDS) is a registered nonprofit community dance organization that supports dancers training in Scottish Highland dance with "Miss Kathleen" in New Westminster and the Lower Mainland.
This volunteer-run society, organized by parents of dancers, helps grow the Highland dance community by creating opportunities for dance fundraising, performances, and community connection across New Westminster, Burnaby, and the Lower Mainland.
KCDS supports:
Highland dance performances and community events
Fundraising initiatives that enhance dancer opportunities
Connections between dancers and families in the local Highland dance community
The society also provides parents with opportunities to connect, share information, and stay informed about upcoming events and activities.
Membership is open to all current and former dancers of Kathleen Carlsen Highland Dance and their families. The yearly membership runs from September 1 to August 31. All families are encouraged to participate and be part of this supportive and active community.
