KCDS is raising funds to support travel to Scotland in July 2026, where 13 of our amateur youth dancers will have the rare opportunity to participate in authentic Scottish highland games. This experience will allow them to deepen their cultural connection to highland dance, perform on international stages, and represent Burnaby and New Westminster, British Columbia and Canada in the birthplace of highland dance. We will be staying in Stirling, UK to participate and compete in the following highland games:

1. July 11 - Alva Games

2. July 18 - Taynault Games

3. July 19 - Stonehaven Games

4. July 20 - Burtisland Games
